What have you been putting off doing? Why?
In the garden of my life, I often find myself neglecting the weeds of spiritual discipline. Like a beautiful flower bed, my faith thrives on attention and care, but I let these essential practices wilt under the heat of daily distractions. I know the value of nurturing my faith through prayer, Scripture reading, accountability, yet I procrastinate, allowing doubt and busyness to overtake the vibrant greens of my spiritual growth.
Imagine a gardener who chooses to ignore the tools necessary for cultivation; without regular tending, the flowers fade. Similarly, my commitment to living out Christian values and making disciples is like planting seeds without watering them. Each seed represents an opportunity to spread Hope, love, and understanding, but without effort, they remain dormant.
In this garden, I must learn to prioritize and pull the weeds of procrastination with determination and patience. Just as a gardener is rewarded with blossoms for their hard work, I know the fruit of living by faith through Christ brings joy, peace and fulfillment. By recommitting to my spiritual practices and embracing the call to discipleship, I can transform the barren patches into a flourishing landscape, reflecting the beauty of a life centered on Christ. The time has come to cultivate my garden and watch as it comes alive.
