“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:1-2 (NIV)
In Colossians 3:1-2, we are reminded to set our minds on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. This call to focus on heavenly matters encourages us to prioritize our spiritual growth and relationship with Christ over earthly distractions.
As we navigate our daily lives, it is essential to remind ourselves that our true hope lies in Him. By intentionally seeking God through prayer, Scripture reading, meditation, and acts of kindness, we can align our thoughts and actions with His will.
Today, take a moment to reflect on what it means to live with hope. Consider the areas of your life where you may be feeling discouraged or overwhelmed. Instead of dwelling on these challenges, shift your perspective to the promises of God. Remember that He is in control and that His plans for you are good. By focusing on His love and Grace, you can cultivate a heart of gratitude and joy, even in difficult circumstances.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for the hope that we have in Christ. Help me to set my mind on things above and to seek Your presence in my daily life. Guide my thoughts and acts so that they reflect Your love and purpose. May I find strength in Your promises and share that hope with others. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
